Mata-Nui- an island protected by seven powerful guardians of the elements known as the Toa.

Makuta- master of shadows and the most powerful evil being in existence.

Deep underground lies a creature that plans to bring the shadow-god back to power. The Toa are the only people strong enough to oppose her... but can they find the Mask of Shadows before she does?

Based on the BIONICLE toy series from Lego comes a story to complete the broken storyline of the the movie animation 'Bionicle: the Mask of Light'. Journey across the island of Mata-Nui with Tahu, Onua, Pohatu, Gali, Kopaka, Lewa and Takanuva on a mission to recover a lost artefact which could bring hell back to the world- the Mask of Shadows!
