Prologue

Marissa is a witch in name, but without a familiar, she can not do more than potion work.

One day, when another spell fails, Jin appears before her, battered and close to death. She helps heal him, but what happens after is a shock to both of them, and Marissa will need to help Jin as much as he can help her.
