A Word of Warning

Monsters hound the land and cause havoc all over the New World. From chimeras and dragons to the legendary leviathan and behemoth, the forces of corruption spread throughout the land like a plague. The only line of defence between a divided humanity and the physical embodiment of Madness are the Hunters, People with unbelievable martial talent and the extremely rare ability to use magic naturally without catalysts. From nobles to vagabonds, these young men and women of all walks of life were selectively chosen to serve the greater good of the world and hunt the corruption and darkness that ravaged the world. Some accept this offer for a multitude of reason, vengeance, duty, honor or the inherent prestige of being a hunter. Our story is about a group of those hunters. One, an outsider, looking for a greater purpose, Another, a revolutionary looking to escape her past, A man working to become worthy of his family legacy, A young woman simply wanting to make her caretaker proud of her and finally, a man who's rage and hatred leads him on the razor's edge close to a dark abyss he won't escape from.
