Love in All the Wrong Places

Skyscrapers. Angry taxi horns. Shoving arms and tangled feet. A seemingly typical day in the city, as the most atypical girl swirled through the madness. Her eyes scanned the faces as they blurred past, and she waited impatiently for her cue. Her attention was on the ground, as it was usually children who gave it to her. After all, the younger people are, the more attuned they are to kindness. They haven't yet been brainwashed by the world to be cruel or selfishly inclined.
