Chapter One

30 years in the future, Adam journeys to Edinburgh to reunite with Eve but after a disastrous trip and starving for blood, he almost kills Eve's human friend, Lilith. Eve seems determined that they will get along, despite Adam's distaste for the "zombies" but neither Adam nor Lilith understands why it's so important to her.
