Lily Evans had a best friend named Katie Holt. Katie has been named Harry Potters godmother. But before we come to that we first enter her last year at Hogwarts. Who is her love interest and who is she going to tell that she is a mermaid, besides headmaster Dumbledore who takes care of her like a father should.
