AUTHOR'S NOTE

Roselyn Mendez, a 33 year old woman, was never loved by her father growing up. He assumed she was the cause of her mother's death. She became determined to be independent and take care of her family; it was her number one priority in life. She wouldn't let her kids experience the same torture her father made her go through.

After her father's death, Roselyn takes her son and daughter on a weekend getaway to his expensive, secluded home in Maitama, Abuja. But, they soon get an unwelcome surprise when four men broke into the house. After Roselyn manages to escape, she must figure out how to save her children from these desperate thieves.
