Finding Maisie: Prologue

When I was eight my best friend was taken. I was a witness. Ten years later Maisie had not been found and I could no longer remember her being snatched; my mind had blocked out the memory. I felt like all hope had gone on ever finding my best friend again until one night I recieved a mysterious message from someone called the abductor. They said they would lead me on a treasure hunt to find Maisie; dead or alive. When I first got the letter I had no idea of the danger of the abductor and the mystery into the disappearance. From clue to clue I looked for her. From danger to danger I fought for her. This is Finding Maisie.
