Description
When her eccentric father suddenly goes missing after the embarrassingly public loss of his company, fifteen-year-old Stevie is forced to move in with her mother, who lives in Arizona with her new family. But as the clock is ticking on the race to find her father, she finds out a chilling secret about what her so-called family oriented senator stepfather does behind closed doors and away from the press. Whilst balancing two different sets of parental issues, Stevie has to deal with the everyday pressures of being a teenager--growing up, schoolwork, and falling in love--while also trying to be the glue holding the fragments of her broken family together. And when her world is finally pushed to its breaking point, will she be able to pick up the pieces?
