At first they don't get along until the young rookie learns some of her secrets and later encrypted information about the White Seeker Femme. Realizing that such information is actually a prophecy of some sort he strives to learn more about Blaze and becomes friends eventually falling in love with her not knowing that he too ties in with the prophecy.
