Cinos and his friends meet new races of Cybertronian who came from the future, the Maximals led by Optimus Primal and the Predacons led by Megatron as he try to change time so the Predacons won't be slave or second class citizens anymore.

Befriend the Maximals, Cinos and the other help them find the stasis pods.

This marked the return of the former Decepticon Leader himself Megatron.
