A Slight Glimpse

Just a decent looking girl, with a decent personality, and a decent life... or so she thought. She never understood why people look at her, or why people try to be nice. Maybe they feel pity? Maybe they feel hatred? No way anyone would every truly be genuinely kind to me. And same thought the new boy in town. She never thought of looking for love, and never did she think she would find it. But here she is, hanging by the threadlike grapple of her Heart-String.
