Description
Sixteen-year-old Genesis Wolfram is adopted. Her parents told her as soon as she could understand what that meant, and she had been grateful that they took her in after her parents had "died." So you can imagine how betrayed she felt when, as the family went to adopt another child, she realized that her parents had taken only her and not her twin brother. Things clicked together and shattered the moment their eyes locked. A week of shunning her foster parents and trying to bond with her brother later, two boys appeared in their school, one with a cocky smirk and a gleam in his brown eyes and the other with serious blue eyes, telling them that they should come with them if they wanted to discover their heritage. His teasing voice floated from in front of me and I turned back to him with a scowl. "Of course not. Now, where are we going to teach me to fly?" The blonde ass grinned cheekily at me. "Right here." I glanced around. We were at a cliff. "What?" He rolled his eyes. "We are going to jump off this cliff and fly." That idiot said it so simply that it took a few moments to register. "What?!" "Yup." He smiled again, walking backwards toward the drop. My eyes widened. "Wait, why? Don't jump!" Zack's eyes glowed with amusement and mischief.
