As the sun sets
coloring the horizon
orange, blue, violet and black
to her home Mother Bird flies back
With words to be sewn
to be sing once the next
daylight cracks

Some I wrote out of boredom, some while I was floating in a swimming pool to an open sky, some in the dark when emotions got the better of me before bed and some, just after the sun sets.
