💢Previously known as Love Without Limits💢 || Book 1 of the Malacant series || Malacant is an island that doesn't exist on the map. Its Creators hid it from the outside world, because their descendants, today's residents of Malacant, have some special talents. The Creators were brothers and sisters but with different charismas. They all lived happily until two people from a different clan fell in love. The Creators gave their blessing to their marriage and their baby. But when the baby was born the Elder, the only witch on the island, had a vision according to which that baby was going to be powerful and will have the power to destroy or maintain the life on Malacant. The Creators could not allow such a thing so they killed the child and its parents. In order to avoid, their descendants, from doing such thing again and repeating their mistake they divided Malacant in four factions: The Water faction descendants of Theresa Prescott, The Fire faction descendants of Ignis Vansel, The Earth faction descendants of Dimitra Wallace and The Air faction descendants of Jegudriel Branhill. Each faction possessed only one quarter of the island and to prevent any random meetings the Creators made the Elder to build wards which would prevent such situations. The four siblings were divided; they created hate amongst the citizens of the factions. But they could not keep being apart, so they created 'The Creators Day'. On that day of the year and only people from all the factions were gathered in the Central Temple to celebrate and honor their founders. Everything was peaceful, or at least was; until now...
