Boarding school has been rough for Dustin since the day he walked in. He has four friends, not including his teachers. But he isn't completely human. He is a Legend, a Legend of what, only his parents know. So when his father doesn't pick him up on the last day, but Victoria, a Sponge-not a real one- Dustin feels completely alone. Until he finds out who he really is one day, when his best friend, Zayn, runs away one night and finds Destiny's Gate. Dustin can't explain why he feels compelled to touch the beautiful golden bars of the gate, Zayn tells him not to. It will fry the brain pretty badly if anyone touches it.
