Chapter 1

16 year old girl Ava lives with her mom Vanessa, but her father left her as a baby, but Vanessa never explained why.

Ava bumps into her dad as she caught getting in trouble with friends robbing a store.

Zac feels like he should keep Ava with him so, he can keep her in check, but Vanessa doesn't agree.

Ava gets in more trouble and starts failing because all she wants is to be with her dad, but her mom won't let her because Zac has some hidden secrets his daughter doesn't know about him.

Vanessa doesn't want Zac near her for that reason.
