Sutton Brown was always different than the other girls in her village. She was drawn to the ocean in a way that she would never be able to understand or explain. Sutton wanted nothing more than to sail the seas, free from responsibility and her roles in her village.

She was raised with the stories of the pirate ship; Neptune's Ghost, and its notorious Captain, Alexander Colt. She learned of his legend, and adventures like how a school child learns a subject.
