Description
Cordelia Winters has been an anomaly since the day she was found as a baby on the lakeshore of her adopted parent's cabin rental. She was left there, alone and abandoned with no trace of her birth parents--not even a hint as to where she came from. Other than her origins, things are fairly normal in Lia's life; she has a normal family and a normal best friend and she likes it that way. But after Aden, the devastatingly attractive man with fire in his eyes enters her life, things start worsening and her once innocent connection with water becomes more than just a little fascination. Soon, Lia finds that her world--a world of mortals, is not the only one to exist. The monsters she once read about are very real, and so are the Gods that once ruled in a separate realm entirely. But those Gods have long abandoned their people, and now the Monsters have taken their reign, wanting to leave nothing but desolation and pain in their wake.
