Description
Emiko Nakamura, former tennis player, transfers to Karasuno High School for her third and final year. There, despite being shy and quiet, she joins the debate club for reasons unknown to most. After becoming acquainted with Kiyoko Shimzu, the manager of the school's male volleyball club, Kiyoko invites Emi to come and watch the team practice, thinking some social interaction would be good for her. Meeting the members of the volleyball team is a turning point in Emi's life. The boys instantly make her feel right at home, and Emi finds herself growing more confident and beginning to drag herself from the shell she's been hiding in for so long. As she grows more comfortable and closer to the boys, Emi finds herself growing exceptionally close to one of them, who might just be the only one who truly understands her, and bring her back to her former self.
