Aquannette knew no other life but the Carnival. Also known as the exhibition of biological rarities or the freak show. Even amongst the wizarding world, the creatures seen there were a true mystery to behold. She was no different, she was a Veela Witch mermaid... She was a hybrid, a witch and a member of the merfolk and when Algernon Crawford had seen the tiny mermaid toddler, aged three, crawl up the banks and sprout legs, he knew that he needed her for the Emerson Carnival. For the past eleven years that is where she'd been until Albus Dumbledore visited his old friend Algernon and noticed. That is when he stole her away and took her to a whole different world... the world of Hogwarts. Here is where she met Remus Lupin, the boy as peculiar as her with his little fury problem.
