Prologue

[Book One]

Children should be seen and not heard. It was just those simple words that caused so much destruction.

"I had begun my life with so much hope. It was over now. I don't know how I ever thought I could be some sort of hero. I had lost. Now all that was left to do was to make them pay. I would murder every last one of them."

Anna lost everything, including her belief in happiness. She trains and she kills. Nothing more.
But perhaps if she stops for a moment and considers her story... Maybe, maybe she can be okay again. Maybe it wasn't her fault they had died.
