Lenae Rose just finished college, and is just getting used to taking care of her three year old daughter Aubree; with no help from the father. This is because Lenae's first love, and Aubree's father, Nick, died of cancer before Aubree was born. Nick always promised Lenae that he would always be in her heart and never leave her, and Lenae believes her. However, when Lenae meets a new man and he becomes a big part of both Lenae and Aubree's lives, she doesn't know if loving someone else is what Nick is pushing her to do in her heart or if it's something else.
