"Nova," He whispers, his voice deep and husky. "Is that really you?"

"It's me," I breathe, a white cloud appearing in front of me.

Before I could register what he's doing, he jumps from the swing and pulls me into him. Stunned, it takes me a second to register what's happening before I wrap my arms around him. I breathe in his woodsy scent, a homey feeling overwhelming me.

"I missed you, Nov."

"I missed you too, Royce. So much."
