After Charlie's best friend, Caroline, passes away from brain cancer, she falls apart. She isolates herself from the world and blames herself for everything. Not until she runs into Ezra, Caroline's grieving boyfriend, does she start to heal again. With the help of each other and notes written by Caroline, the two finally begin to find closure.
