Northshore Preparatory School is the most exclusive boarding school on the East Coast. Cady Heron is a new scholarship student from Africa. When the most popular group of girls in school-"The Plastics"-invite Cady to sit with them at lunch, Cady must decide if she wants to stay low with her real friends Janis and Damian, or climb to the top of the food chain and become the meanest of them all.
