Chapter One

Jealousy and envy comes to Redwood, Minnesota, in the winter of 1877. Jasper Brown, an Army buddy of John Webster's, becomes obsessed with his friend's wife, Isabel. Jasper wants what John has: happiness, a beautiful wife, and a town that respects him. Unbeknownst to his obsession, Isabel befriends Victoria Spencer who arrives in Redwood to fulfill her mother's dream of opening a dress shop. Dangers arise as this new friendship forms. Victoria learns she must protect the ones she loves; for the perils of living on the frontier are kind to no one.

Emerald Green is the second book in the Redwood Series. The novel has many of the same characters you have grown to love from Porcelain White.
