Love Among Ruins

Most 18 year old girls go on senior trips with their best friend to Mexico or something. But no not me I'm on a train, to visit my father's side of the family. The same father I grew up without, the same father I know nothing about, the same father I'm going to see burried at his funeral. I don't know why mom couldn't go herself, she said she couldn't bear the pain, and I
look just like him. My grandparents want to see me, they never met me before, the same with the rest of his
family. I was supposly to the
biggest secret my family ever had.
Two young and naive kids in love,
the girl gets pregnant, the family
thinks she nothing but bad news
for their son so they banish her and
the baby from ever seeing him.
That baby is me .But when I met John on the train who haves his share of problems too, he shows me that you can always find love among all the ruins.
