Chapter 1: Bye Bye Papa.

Nyla Martin is only 14, and gets admitted to a foster home. Her parents died when she was 10 because of gang violence and she's been living with her Grandfather ever since. When he gets sick, and dies of lung cancer, she has no other family and is forced to live with a home of kids she doesn't know. There's a boy there named August Alsina, and he seems to be the only one that she understands. Vice versa. She doesn't want to get too close, due to the fact she's afraid to love. But what happens when she's put in that position?
