Magic has a strange way of bringing people together. For some stupid reason, that way includes separating them.
What do you do when a sorceress curses your brother and sends him away to who knows where? For Cecily Herondale, the answer was simple. Go after him! But what happens when you meet a strange boy living alone in a tower? Saving him might plunge you into the middle of many other stories.
