Description
Maybumi Kiyoku is mute. Most people can't recall the last time they heard her voice, and no one knows why she doesn't speak. Despite numerous efforts to get her to utter even the smallest sound, she continuously refuses. Some people describe her as the girl who would walk straight into a raging wild fire with a straight face. Even when delivered with insults sent at her with sharp seething tongues, and venom that would make most people convulse with anger, she doesn't make a sound, nor allow a single expression to grace her features. When she is forced to join as the assistant manager of the Karasuno boy volleyball team, the people closest to her begin to see a glimmer of hope despite the raging waves crashing over what is a boat wreck of a young girl.
