Chapter 1. Luck of the Irish

A corrupt 1940s police officer decides the way to wealth is graft. He ups the ante and finds a way to make even more money. His beloved wife doesn't care about money. Officer Pat O'Connor wants the good life and won't wait for it, despite his wife's pleas.
While Pat is a dangerous man not to be trifled with, he is a loving husband to his wife Emile. To say they are madly in love is an understatement. They would gladly die for one another.
