Description
(A/N: This is an old, discontinued draft. The edited version is available on my profile, and is also titled "Subterra Heart.") Some secrets are best left untouched. The subterranean city of Heart has grown and thrived for a thousand years. No one questions how it came to be, nor why it is sealed off from its host planet. For Triss, this is perfectly fine. She's never had any sort of thirst for adventure. However, when a coworker and her beloved cat become trapped outside of the city's boundaries, Triss finds herself forced to break the greatest of all city rules: she leaves Heart in search of them. It doesn't take long for her to discover exactly what has been hidden away in the outside world, and this new knowledge brings her entire life crumbling down around her.
