Chapter 1

Chase stands above me with a serious glint in his azure orbs. I stare at him for a long time, looking at every inch of his chiseled face. His SANDY hair is in a mess of ringlets that remind me of my favorite meal - ramen noodles. I try to speak but words do not come out. I know my mom will be coming back soon, only to stare at the beautiful boy cleaning our pool the size of a football field.

"Want to go swimming, Hannah?"
