Mickey Haller, L.A defense attorney, was cruising in his Lincoln when he received a phone call from the NY's most prestigious law firm: Pearson Specter. Before long, a dinner meeting was set between him and the infamous Harvey Specter. Set in the time of Mike's fraud lawsuit, Harvey decided neither him nor Mike was suitable for defending themselves. They could not risk exposing their relationship and endangering their chance of winning. He decided to look for outside counsel.
