Description
You know how in movies the girl always has complete control of her horse, never mind that they're galloping along at 60km/h, or that she's riding saddle and bridle-less, or she's never ridden a horse before in her life? All I'm going to say is that that's not always how it works. Nellie is one of the descendants of a long line of farmers. As a country girl born and bred, there is nothing she would rather do than ride her horse, Echo, in the bush or help out her dad with the cattle work. However the country life isn't always as easy as it seems. Living in the harsh climate of the Australian Snowy Mountains, Nellie and her family must face the challenges of bushfire, drought, misbehaving horses and clueless farmhands, as well as the ordinary complications of farm life. What could possibly go wrong?
