Prologue

When an ungrateful and depressed teen loses her mother, she is put into an orphanage in the old, cold town of Little Falls, Minnesota. When at the orphanage, with 3 dozens of kids and a two story house, Dakota Lacey makes friends with one boy Charleston Winters. It turns into something much more, but then her bad luck hits them both.
