"W-what are you doing?" I asked. I knew if he laid one finger on me, I was a goner and I couldn't have that happening. He followed my movements and soon enough I was taking steps backwards. I looked behind me and I was trapped between the couch and the wall. My only option was to run to the sides, but he was too close for me to even try to escape. He smirked, knowing he had me cornered, while I was an erratic mess again. Whatever body temperature my cooled down to was now gone, replaced by a heat that was spreading throughout my body like no other. It was like my body had a mind of its own, responding to him like this even though he hadn't touched me. I eventually hit the wall as he stalked closer and nervous was an understatement. Ronan placed his hands on either side of my head and brought his head close to mine, too close. Our chests were now barely touching and the heat was spreading like no other. He dipped his head into my neck and I felt the sparks where his nose brushed my bare skin. "We need to have a talk, mate." He whispered in my ear and I closed my eyes in response to his husky and deep voice that had my toes curling. Oh, shit.
