Prologue

Crystal knows there's a precious memory that's locked inside her mind. No matter how many clues she gets in her dreams she can't recall it nor will any one answer her. New faces she has never seen but knows who she is, is even terrifying. Sympathy is written on every face that visits her, but one.
A shadow behind her closed window beside her bed is there every night for weeks. It doesn't say a word, it only stays there listening to her talk.
Who it is, she doesn't know.
Why it's there, she's not sure.
How it knows her, is strange.
Maybe thats why it decided to speak one night. A story about her that she never knew. A voice that stirs her heart and a fate she never knew she encountered.
