Ten years ago, Lux Labelle ran from her abusive parents' home, changed her name, and moved to Paris. Now, she has a loving boyfriend of five years, Blaise Renaud, a daughter she adopted off the streets, and a job she adores. But when Lux's older brother tells her he's gravely ill, she decides to head back home, and her new family insists on going with her. How will Lux cope with confronting her past self, including the parents she fled from?
