The Color of Sight

A short story entailing a young girl and an experience she has one night. It's much more interesting than it sounds, I promise. There has always been something up with her town, but she does not understand it, just as she does not understand why the old hag hobbles up the street and past her home every night at precisely three minutes past sunset. As she also does not understand what it is she sees that night and what it might involve. It does not make sense to her, but... could it truly ever make any real sense at all?
