Five hundred years after the Advisor's war, the realm of Tauta has descended into chaos and anarchy. Its caretaker has abandoned it and the Dijem are being hunted and killed by the lesser races.

Cori has run from regret after regret throughout the years but when a summer song catches in her mind, she finds herself returning to her homeland to seek it out.

It has been a long time, and Cori finds that in her absence Cadmus and Daiyu have returned to Tauta to take the throne as their own, but not before they eliminate the remaining Dijem once and for all.
