Ever wondered if Jacob didn't have feelings for Bella at all? Well, Liana Bremer loves La Push and goes every year for her birthday. After her dad passed away and her mother left out of compassion for other people, her legal guardian is Sandra Clark, her protective stepmother. Sandra takes Liana to La Push for a late birthday present and to one of her dad's closest friends, Billy Black. Once Liana and Sandra get to Billy's, the whole pack can sense what Liana is. Jacob soon imprints on Liana. A dinner interruption causes Liana to face the fact that she was meant to be alone. But in Jake's eyes, he realizes that he can finally have her. Jake makes little gestures onto Liana, and Liana allows it. That worries some of the other members of the pack. Since Liana won't phase like any of the other wolves, the only other option is phasing by love. But they don't want it to end with cheap and meaningless sex. Will one little slip ruin the Liana's chance of phasing?
