Akari Kimura is a powerful girl in a hero-fueled world. She is parentless, and it is a mystery to all, including herself and almost every pro hero, who her parents are. As a child, her best friends were Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoryia, though she was much closer to the ash blonde, growing up and all through middle school. She seemed to be the only person the explosive boy liked, and they were basically inseparable. Shota Aizawa, known as the pro hero Eraserhead, has raised Akari since she was a toddler, and is officially her adoptive father. Little does the girl know, Aizawa knows exactly who her parents are and adopted her immediately after she was given up, saving the young girl. Akari has been accepted into the prestigious UA Highschool, following the long, twisted path of the dream she has had for as long as she can remember, through recommendations. Follow Akari through her high school years as she tries to master her quirk, discovers things about herself she never realized, falls in love, continues her journey of being a pro hero, and makes mistakes...a lot. This is the first book in the Explosive Glitch series. This follows the anime, then the manga. None of the characters in My Hero Academia/Boku No Hero Academia belong to the author (me, hi and thank you for reading) besides Akari, nor do the events unless they are created from the author's imagination.
