He couldn't run, nor would he. His speech was impaired, and his body malnourished. He's never stepped beyond the threshold of the pack house and he's never thought to question his existence. He was brought up to be obedient, to service his Alpha and pack.

The pack used him, his Alpha abused him, he was merely a toy to be played with and Toby took it all in without so much as a sound.

But what happens when Toby's life is uplifted when his Alpha gets overthrown and a new leader stakes his claim?
