In a small town on the outskirts of Quebec, nothing is as it seems. Despite modern conveniences, the Good Law is obeyed, and fey freely mingle among men and monsters alike.

In this town, where talent is valued above all else, Avery Abinav is born talentless. Despite his comfortable position in town, with his trusting and loyal friend, Ed Pechman, he feels as if he were meant for more.
