Harry leaves for New York shortly after the battle of Hogwarts after finding out that his parents bound his creature inheritance at birth, and at his death the block came undone, leaving him with a new inheritance with new abilities and details he doesn't understand. When he sleeps with someone, he finds out that not only does he have a mate, but there are important details about his inheritance he didn't know.
