She's alone in the Old Union, and soft-spoken black man offers to help. What secrets is his family hiding?

The United States of America has been split in two, and Susan wants to run away from her boring life in Texas. She gets separated from her lover at an ICE checkpoint, and now she is an illegal alien all alone in an unfamiliar city. Should she trust the people she meet or try to find her way back to Texas?
