Clara Jane is not her real name.

She was left at the steps of a muggle orphanage when she was but a baby with no letter nor name. Nothing but a basket, tiny baby clothes, a thin blanket and an emerald green pendant.

After being sent to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she is faced with even more questions, predicaments, and revelations that alter not only her world but the worlds of others as well.
