Meeting The Party Girl

You are at a party that your friend had dragged you to against your will. Unfortunately, they bailed on you to go party, and they were your ride home, too... The music is pumping, people are chatting each other up, and you are sulking in a corner with a drink in your hand and irritation in your mind. That is until you are approached by a girl who seems intent on cheering you up... or taking you home. (This story is gender neutral so that all parties may enjoy it).
